Cataloging Guatemalan Indigenous Textiles
OBJECTIVE: Catalog indigenous Guatemalan fabrics to determine their origin, use and temporality.
RESPONSIBLE: Technical Team, Ixchel Museum.
ESTIMATED EXECUTION TIME: Depends on the number of pieces.
DONATION FOR EACH PIECE: Q100
ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP:
• Intiating an inventory.
• Identify the origin, use, temporality, and approximate value.
REQUEST:
• The pieces that make up the collection must be delivered to the museum facilities. At the time of receipt, a signed and sealed note will be issued. At the end of the cataloging, the owner of the collection will sign a note of receipt.
• Make donation through the advisory service when delivering the pieces to the museum. For this, you will be given a receipt for the donation.

Level 2
Cataloging, technical sheet and photographic record of Guatemalan Indigenous Textiles
OBJECTIVE: Catalog indigenous Guatemalan fabrics to determine their origin, use and temporality as well as provide a technical description, label, and photograph of the pieces.
RESPONSIBLE: Technical Team, Ixchel Museum, curator, register and designated photographer.
ESTIMATED EXECUTION TIME: Depends on the number of pieces.
DONATION FOR EACH PIECE: Q600
ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP:
• Inventory lifting.
• Identify the origin, use, temporality and approximate value.
• Label.
• Digital and printed photographs.
• Preparation of technical sheet.
• Basic technical description of the fabrics.
REQUEST:
• The pieces that make up the collection must be delivered to the museum facilities; At the time of receipt, a signed and sealed receipt note will be issued. At the end of the cataloging, the owner of the collection will sign a note of receipt.

Clean, decontaminate, and packaging of Guatemalan Indigenous Textiles
OBJECTIVE: Clean and decontaminate each of the pieces that make up the collection under preventive conservation measures.
RESPONSIBLE: Technical Team, Ixchel Museum of Indigenous Costume; curator, register and professional photographer.
ESTIMATED EXECUTION TIME: Depends on the number of pieces.
DONATION FOR EACH PIECE: Q300
ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP:
• Cleaning and decontamination.
• Packaging.
• Suggestion for storage area.
REQUEST:
• The pieces that make up the collection must be delivered to the museum facilities. At the time of receipt, a signed and sealed receipt note will be issued. At the end of the cataloging, the owner of the collection will sign a note of receipt.
• Make donation through the advisory service when delivering the pieces to the museum. For this, you will be given a receipt for the donation.
