Guided Tour
EDUCATION IXCHEL offers guests a guided tour through the different galleries of the permanent and temporary exhibit of the museum with the intention to learn the roots of the Mayan textile tradition.
The tour includes a museum guide through all the exhibits and a video presentation of “Mayan clothing from Guatemala” and for the youngest (primary) the animated video of “Textile Tradition of Guatemala”. The tour ends with a short workshop that focuses on the different techniques used to make textiles.
